I have a lot of pain when I urinate and also after, my urination is very slow and I take a long time to pee just a little, I had a prostate operation about 18 months ago but the symptoms I have now seem to be more severe than I had then. After I have urinated I get quite a lot of pain all at the back of my penis and also in my testicles my water is clear there is know signs of any blood, this has been going on for about 3 weeks, I had antibiotics off my doctor 1 week ago but the symptoms still persist. I am 72 years old
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Weak stream of urine could be due to weak pelvic muscle and bladder contraction. 2. Pain after urination at back of penis could be due to urethral irritation. Pain during urination is usually due to urinary tract infection. 3. Get a urine microscopy done. If pus cells are found, culture and sensitivity and appropriate antibiotics are necessary. 4. Pelvic muscle exercises and bladder contraction training is necessary. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
