Hi, I have had a lot of UTI s over the past 2-3 years and had an IVP performed which was fine. However for quite some time now I have been having some pain after I have urinated which I can only describe as it feels like my bladder or the urethra is contracting giving me the pain. This lasts for around 30 minutes following urination and I urinate probably 5-6 times a day. I m wondering if the amount of UTI s I have had is irritating my bladder or if you have any ideas what this could be? Thank you
* When IVP is normal, the reason of urethral narrowing can be sorted out with the help of ascending urethrogram to find the pathology beyond the bladder level.
* Precise infection control, hydration maintenance and blood sugar vigilance are of prime importance here.
