What Causes Pain From Top Of Leg Radiating To Entire Leg?
I have had an unpleasant pain in my left leg. Usually starts right at the top, but goes either just to my knee, but sometimes right to my foot. It really hurts a lot at night. I haven t really been able to sleep well. I have had a blood clot in my right leg and still have some discomfort, and the left leg kind of feels the same discomfort, but with pain.
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have got pain radiating to your left leg. It seems that pain can be due to compression at lumber spine may be disc prolapse or lumbar spondylosis .It can be confirmed by MRI of lumbar spine .However you have history of blood clot on right leg and suspecting same on left side so you should get angiography of it done to rule not it Analgesic such as diclofenac will be beneficial in pain relief. For prevention of spread of blood clot, low dose aspirin will be of benefit. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
