Hello,

Rule out Celiac disease by screening tests like anti-tissue transglutaminase and anti-endomysial antibody work up. If needed endoscopy can be done to do a further workup. If symptoms improve after withdrawal of gluten-containing diet like wheat, barley, rye, etcetera, then Celiac disease needed to be ruled out. Avoid excess spicy foods. It can be gastric ulcer if no celiac disease for which Rabeprazole can be prescribed. If no improvement than endoscopy will help in reaching up to diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
