What Causes Pain In Back Side Of Head And Neck?

I fell rollerblading yesterday and I got up right away and did have slight roadrash on arm. I do not recall if I hit my head but my neck feels sore and the back right side of my head feels kind of achy but numb ...more like tension. Should I be worried or is it just stress from the fall.? I am 34 years old and learned my lesson about blading while walking the dog, lol.

Hi. From what you describe, it sounds like a minor injury with some bumps and bruises. However, I think it would be safest if you were to be formally examined by a doctor given the pain in your neck. The chances of significant injury is low, but it would be best to be checked out, as the risk of missing something significant with your neck is not worth taking, in my opinion. I hope this helps.
