What Causes Pain In Bladder Area?

I am a 28 year old male , when I had to pee there was slight pain while going, as well as pain in the bladder area . There was no discoloration, it was thick , bright red, and clot like . A few minutes later It happened again only little more pain and it was like a regular flow , just dark red. Just before this happened I was sexually active and pretty dehydrated. What could it most likely be ? And should I be terrified and rush to emergency room ?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It appears to be urinary tract infection with hematuria.
2. Get a urine microscopy examination for evaluation of pus cells, red blood cells and bacteria.
3. If positive, culture and sensitivity of urine sample is necessary for identification of appropriate antibiotics. Until, then nitrofurantoin can be started.
4. Have good hydration. For pain, you can take paracetamol. Meet your doctor for tests and prescription.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
