What Causes Pain In Bottom Ribs?

Hi I have had light pain on both the right and left side of my back around the bottom of my ribs. It is very uncomfortable and hurts when I sneeze. I assume that it is my kidneys bc of the symmetrical aspect, however I have had no problems urinating. I feel as if I have had to drink more in order to keep my urine from turning yellow. Had a urinalysis and the doctor said that there were no signs of a kidney infection. What is going on?

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having pleurisy as you are having pain during sneezing.It is inflammation of covering of lung. You can further exclude other causes by x ray chest and sonography of abdomen. Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. VitaminB and C is helpful in recovery.
