What Causes Pain In Ears And Throat And Been Diagnosed For Acid Reflux?

My throat feels painful and my ears hurt. I had my ears checked a couple of weeks ago due to chronic post nasal drip and was told they looked great. however inside my nose was red and irritated. my doctor prescribed me with amoxicillin 250mg 3 times a day for 10 days. I completed it about 5 days ago. now this. I was told a few months ago I had a swollen tonsil and uvula. it is still swollen. I also have acid reflux lately. not sure what to do.

I really appreciate your concern if you have history of post nasal drip then the throat discomfort and the otalgia is very likely symptoms you have given very low dose of antibiotic, in fact no need to give any antibiotic here this has got no role, if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following medicines that would work for your post nasal drip and for acid reflux problem
1) Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day
2) Tab loratidine with pseudoephedrine three times in day
have steam inhalation, hope this information helps you have nice day.
