What Causes Pain In Fingers And Elbows With Elevated CRP Levels?

I have had a series of blood test and the CRP has been elevated every time. this week it is 11. Because my fingers, elbows and ankles have been painful and because my sister has schlerderma the doctor thought she should check for RA and Lupus. Those test came back negative. So, my dr. is suggesting I see a reumatologists sp??

These symptoms suggest rheumatoid arthritis. You should ESR and RA factor checked. Your doctor is correctly suggesting you should see a rheumatologist .
