What Causes Pain In Fingers?

i RECENTLY OVER A 8 WEEK PERIOD TOOK 4 SEPARATE ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIPTIONS. iT DID NOT CLEAR MY INFECTION AND i ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL TAKING vANCOMYCIN AND FLAGL FOR 3 DAYS. i NOW HAVE PAIN IN TWO OF MY FINGERS ON THE RIGHT HAND. i AM DIABETIC BUT HAVE NOT EVER HAD THIS KIND OF PAIN BEFORE. cAN THE ANTIBOTICS CAUSE THIS PAIN?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have taken a many course of antibiotics .Pain can be due to antibiotics treatment because this causes deficiency of vitamins as antibiotics kills also beneficial bacteria present in our gut.You can take lactobacillus tablets to again rplace them. Vitamin B complex and Vitamin C is helpful. You can take analgesic for pain relief. But if pain is sever than you should look for other cause. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
