What Causes Pain In Foot?

Hi, I have had problems with heel pain on my left foot for the last 4 weeks, and am quite certain it is plantar fasciitis. I have not been to the GP yet for confirmation. What do you suggest that I could do to improve it and allow the inflammation to abate? It s not realistic for me just to sit at home and put my feet up, as I have 2 young kids that I have to walk to school. Would a crutch help, to avoid putting weight on the heel? Your advice is appreciated.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I cancluded that you are having planter fasciatis. Treatment of it is hot fomentation and analgesic for pain relief. Soft shoes are advised. You are advised to avoid long continues standing. If it is not relieved by these measures then I generally give injection triamcilone locally in heal with good results. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
