What Causes Pain In Forearm?

I have pain in my forearm when straightening and also when leaning on it, for example now while typing it hurts. The most pain is when I try to straighten though. I haven t been doing anything out of the ordinary lately and this has been ongoing for over 1 week now and appears to be getting worse.

Hello,

What it appears to me is that you are a professional typewriter or maybe your job demands typing work a lot.

This kind of pain arises due to overuse of the Forearm muscle for typing and which leads to fatigue.

There may be even a chance of the nerve entrapment in the cervical region due to which the possible ability of the muscle reduces and fatigue sets in faster.

But we can only confirm this with physical examination and if required an MRI scan.

You try some Basic forearm muscle strengthening exercises and also some stretching exercises of the Forearm muscles to overall improve the functionality of the muscles.

Rest assured, you will be fine if you follow these guidelines in about 2-3 weeks of time.

Please note that if your job demands more of the physical work with a keyboard then follow these exercises regularly to avoid future injuries.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
