What Causes Pain In Gullet?

hi i have a bad pain in my gullet ,iv had it for years but its so bad i have not been to sleep how can i make this go away, i do suffer with my nerves and if i get upset it is aways more painfull can you sugest anythink i may have at home thank you diane
