Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be suggestive of arthritis. Other possible causes to consider would be : vitamin D deficiency, increased uric acid plasma levels or peripheral arteriopathy. For this reason, I would recommend performing some tests:
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- Vitamin D and blood electrolyte levels
- Uric acid plasma levels
A Doppler ultrasound of the leg vessels may be needed if all the above tests result normal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
