What Causes Pain In Knuckles & Fingers?

I was laying on my bed, & all of a sudden my right hand started hurting around my knuckles, & then slowly crept upward to my fingers. A few minutes later, my hand started swelling up for no reason at all. Right now, I have pain now shooting all the way up my arm & I m icing my hand. I m a 17 year old female, & I was just wondering what is going on.

Hi,

Get your blood tests done regarding arthritis as CBC, ESR, CRP, anti-CCP, ANA and thyroid profile. Till then take over the counter painkillers and apply hot pack.
