What Causes Pain In Left Breast Whenever Consume Alcohol?

Hi I have noticed pain in my left breast when I consume alcohol. It is immediate upon the first drink consumed. I have been a regular drinker for a few years now a few times per week. I am 28 and have had previous issues with my left breast but this correlation started last year.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

In some individuals, alcohol can cause dilation of the blood vessels in the bread parenchyma and thus cause pain while consuming alcohol.

The best possible option to overcome this problem is to avoid consumption of alcohol.

If pain persists better to consult a general surgeon and get evaluated to rule out other causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
