What Causes Pain In Legs After Using Viagra And Cialis?
I had back surgery for a herniated disk (L5,S1) area of back, and have permanent nerve damage and continue to have to take pain meds for the pain (Lyerica , Wellbutrin, and a small doze of oxecodine. I have ED perhaps due to the meds, and I have been prescribed Viagra and Cialis to help with the ED. My question is that when I take Viagra or Cialis I end up having severe pain in my legs and back similar to when I first injured my back is this common?
Both cialis and viagra can cause back pain so it is possible that they are contributing to the pain that you are experiencing. The effect is not common but it can occur in some persons.
It is possible that you are reacting to one and not both of these medications so if possible, you can discontinue one of them and see if the pain continues. It should stop within 3 days of discontinuation of a particular medication.
If discontinuation is not an option or it is not related to either of these medications then your doctors may need to adjust your pain medication to help deal with the symptoms
I hope this helps
