What Causes Pain In Legs On Exertion Radiating Between Calves And Thighs?
I have pain in both legs when I have any exertion. The pain goes from the calves all the way up to the thigh muscles in both legs. I have had triple bypass surgery about 9 years ago. I take 2 pills for high blood pressure and 1 for acid reflux. I also take 1 aspirin a day. I am overweight and 58 years of age and male. My family has a history of heart problems. I have noticed this pain over the past 2-3 days.
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I think that you may be having peripheral vascular disease as you have calf pains on exertion. You need to be done your arteriography of both lower limbs so that know status of your arteries. Another cause can be neurological claudication may be due to lumbar spondylitis. Third possibility is vitamin D3 deficiency, you can get your vitamin D3 test to rule out this. till then you can take Ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
