What Causes Pain In Lower Back After An Injury?

I had a car accident almost 2 years ago and for the last 6-8 months I keep getting a grinding feeling in my lower back, this makes me feel sick as its feels horrible. I also had a accident where a 62inch tele fell on my neck/head3 weeks ago and now have a clicking in my chest, is this normal?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a contusion. Fracture is unlikely. As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
