What Causes Pain In Lower Part Of Back?

For the last several days, I have been having pain starting in the lower part of my back and it then progresses over my right hip down into my leg. I am experiencing the pain when I stand for some time with weight on my right leg. If I elevate the leg, or at least take weight off that leg as I stand, the pain subsides.

Dear patient you seem to be having right side radicular pain. Radicular pain occurs all along the leg and starts at back. But since you are not able to take weight on right leg right hip abnormalities should be ruled out.i would advice radiograph of lumbosacral spine anteroposterior and lateral views and radiograph of pelvis with both the hips to rule out bony abnormalities. You should start taking diclofenac 50mg twice a day for 5 days Also take pregabalin plus methylcobalamin one at bedtime for 10 days. And you wl be fine.
