What Causes Pain In Lower Right Abdominal Area?

Yes, I have had a constant slight pain on my lower right abdominal area and had a cadscan in Austin on 8/28/14 and was told that there seemed to be some inflammation around my appendix area. I also have a penile implant and the reservoir is also in the same are, so I am concerned.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of penile implant with reservoir in the right lower abdominal area. You have a constant slight pain on lower right abdomen, CAT scan showing inflammation around appendix.
This indicates that you may be suffering from catarrhal appendicitis and needs laparoscopic diagnosis and removal if the actual picture on laparoscopy is showing the signs of appendicitis.
You can certainly also have a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole so that the progress can be seen.
Also get explored for any other complications and get treated well to get a permanent cure.
