What Causes Pain In Mid Left Inner Thigh And Groin Area?

Bad pain in mid left inner thigh and groin area. Also lower left back above buttocks and radiates down outer left leg to knee joint area. It hurts when sitting but mostly when sleeping! Side sleeper and toss and turn quite often to get comfortable. Have had this going on now for almost a month? Any ideas of whats possibly wrong. Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,It is possible to be a compression of the nerves. I suggest you to do a MRI of the lumbar column. Meantime use Ibuprofen to relieve pain and do not lift heavy things.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
