What Causes Pain In My Lower Back?

Hi, i am having pain in my lower back and I am not sure what it is. It feels like spasms and it usually occurs when I am bending over but sometimes randomly. My ballet teacher told me it might be kidney problems but can you please explain this to me?

Thanks for the query. Your information is insufficient but it primarily could be related to degenerative spine problem ie lumbar spondylitis. Rest and pain killers short course may be beneficial. We need additional information regarding 1. Is the pain worse in early morning or evening.
2. Precipitating and aggravating factors.
3. Duration of symptoms and your age.
4. Presence of morning stiffness if any.
