What Causes Pain In My Stomach While Suffering From IBS?

I have recently been diagnosed with IBS and have been dealing with pain and uncomforatble feelings in my stomach for a few weeks. However now I am getting pain and can feel a heart beat above my belly button but below my rib cage If I press in I can feel a lump of sorts and get pain from this area.. I also get sort of like a burning feeling from my throat and also from my heart. I have been taking Mebeverine , Buscopan for IBS and Omeprazole. Upon my visit to the drs today I was given ranatidine hydrochloride.
