What Causes Pain In Penis?

Hi, my 5 year old son is complaining that his penis hurts when he has to urinate. I took him to the pediatrician who sai it wasn't a urinary tract infection or anything like that. It only happens sometimes when he is finishing up a bath? Could it be soap getting in there or something like that. Thanks, Michelle

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
I could think of these possibilities -
1. Balanoposthitis - infection in tip of penis
2. Soap solution induced
3. Strangury or concentrated urine
4. If there is family history of renal stones - it should be thought of.

Try to give him some sugar solution followed by 2 full glasses of water. If it still persists, we need to investigate further.
