What Causes Pain In Right Side Gum, Ear And Joints?

I have a recurring right sided pain. It presents in the mouth area with my gums feeling hot and then moves to my ear, eye and all of the joints on my right side of the body. It is painful to the touch but there are no visible sores. My eye feels like I have pieces of glass in it. My gums may appear to be red or swollen at times but not always. This will come and last for about two weeks and then go away. It has recurred several times in the last year. I also notice a burning sensation on the rear of my posterior calf and posterior right arm. It has never occurred on my left side. I had shingles in 2007 and it seems this has been occurring since then. I have spoken with a Doctor about it but he has not had any diagnosis for me. My Dentist suggested it may have something to do with my shingles. I am at a loss and in pain. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you
