What Causes Pain In Ring Finger Upon Flexion After Weight Training?
It s kinda weird. Today during weight training I went to the bar for dead lifts. After my third rep a large pain shot up in my ring finger on my left side but this only happens when I squeeze something. But I can still flex my finger with no pain or problem and it doesn t hurt when I touch. Please help Devin
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your ring finger got sprained during weight training .I think it is not much problem ,only some inflammation is there because only squeezing is painful. Its treatment is rest ,icing and analgesic such as diclofenac. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care
