What Causes Pain In Stomach After Passing Stools And Urinating?

My 8 year old son has been complaining that it hurts in his stomach after he urinates or has a bowel movement. He says it is a sharp pain and he has to sit down for a minute or stand up very straight and it will go away after a few minutes. He doesn t report pain before or during. Should I be concerned?

hi..
you have given less information for us to tell what exactly child has. you have not mentioned the duration, site of pain, associated with burning micturation or vomiting.

by your history, child has nonspecific pain abdomen. ask the child to drink plenty of water and green leafy vegetables. if pain continues, child requires urine routine, ultrasound abdomen and amylase. right now dont worry and follow the above measures.
