What Causes Pain In Stomach, Back And Abdomen After Having Diarrhea?

Hi Doc, I got sick with diarrhea recently with chills than I would get really hot at some point than stop. Than I began to start to get better, but now on my right side of my back I have a pain. I guess it s under the rib cage, and it s been getting a little worse. Once I m laying down on my stomach I m ok until I get up to stand. When standing it hurts, along with the rest of my back, and abdomen. Once my body use to standing than it begins to get better. Then that one area of my back still remains with a little pain. What ur opinion?. ...Thank you.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of diarrhea, chills, pain in right side of back under the rib cage and getting little worse. You are getting pain on changing the position.
This indicates that most probably you are suffering from some sort of peritonitis.
I would advise you the following:
Ultrasonography,
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position.
Tests of blood, urine and stool.
This along with clinical evaluation will give the best possible diagnosis and the a plan for further treatment.
