What Causes Pain In Stomach That Subsides On Eating?
Rolling discomfort, sometimes painful, mostly very uncomfortable pain in my upper stomach. Feels like gas pains but the pain eases when I eat even if I don't feel hungry. The pain is so bad that it wakes me up 3-4 times per night. It keeps getting worse until I eat. Then it subsides.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain subsiding after eating may be seen in duodenal ulcer or any ulcers that are exposed to acids.
Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks.
Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms do not improve, please consult your doctor who will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
