What Causes Pain In Temple And Sore Throat In A Child?

son age 11 is complaining about left temple pain of the head. the pain occurs when he turns his head and the next morning after having tyenol the pain reoccur, but along with throat pain. should i take him to the er; although he is not running a fever should i take him to the er?

Greetings,
the child having sore throat,that means there is some amount of infection in the throat.this can lead to generalised malaise,headache etc.
so it can be because of that.
but also a physical examination is a must for the throat as to come to a conclusion whether the antibiotic should be started or not.
