What Causes Pain In The Abdomen, Chills, Excessive Sweating, Headache And Nausea?

3 times in the past seven weeks I ve experienced the same symptoms. Sudden pain in abdomen, chills, sweating, headache. Occasionally a bit of nausea. It lasts a few days, but is severe enough that I don t go to work and sleep most of time. I ve been taking 800 mg of ipubrofen 2-3 times/day as prescribed by dr. For knee pain. I m also going to physical therapy for knee and lower back issues. Each flare up of this stomach problem occurred on the day of or the following day of physical therapy/lumbar traction.

We have to rule out possible causes like appendicitis and intrabdominal abscess. Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
