What Causes Pain In The Crack Of Buttocks?
A couple of days ago I felt a pain in the crack of my buttocks and I went and looked in the mirror and there is a red line starting from about my anus all the way up at the top of my crack. sorry, i have no other way to explain it without it sounding gross. Over the last couple of days it has not got any worse or any better. I feel a tad feverish, tired and have some backache too. Not sure if the backache is related though. Do you know what this might be? I ve also had a lot of issues passing stool lately.

Hi,
It could be a fissure in ano. Avoid constipation. Take some laxative to keep stools soft. Sit in a trough containing warm water. If no relief, consult a general.
