What Causes Pain In The Elbow?

Hello Dr. Rynne, For some time now (off and on) I have pain in my elbow, above and below the elbow and into my hand near my thumb. It hurts now and I was just raising and lowering my upstairs windows to clean. The top was very hard to get down, then back up.

It can be possible “tennis elbow”. Consult an orthopedic and get an MRI scan done to look for any ligament or tendon injury. As of now, you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain.
