I have extreme throbbing pain on the left side of my right foot right behind my big toe. It hurts on the ball of the side of the big toe and on the top where the big toe ends. The pain is so severe that I am not able to walking, only by putting pressure on heal or right side of foot to walk. This morning there was pain where but throughout the day the pain got even worse where now I am not able to walk. When I am sitting down, the pain is all that comes to mind with out being able to relax. At this moment as we speak my foot is throbbing an hurting.
As per your symptoms first possibility can be gout. In gout there is accumulation of uric acid crystals in joint mainly foot. This leads to swelling and redness in foot. Another differential can be nerve compression leading to toe swelling.
Till time take analgesic and neurotropic like methylcobalamin. If gout is confirmed you may need medicine accordingly and diet restriction.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
