What Causes Pain In The Groin Area Radiating To The Thighs?

Hi. I started with pain in my groin that was off-and-on for about a year. It got increasingly worse, and moved to my hips. Then I developed bladder leakage, was x-rayed and diagnosed with arthritis. But then the pain has gotten progressively worse in the last 2 months moving down my thighs making it very painful to walk, stand, and even sleep at night. It feels like tight muscles after I ve had a workout or something. I just had an MRI done, and am waiting for results to go see doctor again.

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symtoms (pain in this region and especially considering the bladder leakage) could be related to a spinal canal stenosis in the lumbar region.
For this reason, I would like to directly review your MRI report for a more professional opinion. Consulting with a spinal surgeon may be needed.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
