What Causes Pain In The Head Even If The Skin Is Touched Or The Hair Moves?

hello my brother had a skateboard accident he hit his head and damaged his neck. he has been to hospital and kept for observation but it has been 5 days now and every bit of skin on his head and neck hurts to touch. even if someone touches his hair or if the wind blows on his skin he is in pain. what causes this ?

Your concern and query is appreciated, it seems to be a case of serious trauma may be neurological damage, soft tissue inflammation, muscle fiber damaged, vascular bed crushed, these are the type of very serious injury, such injury could cause the pain even from the slight touch or disturbances, but with proper treatment and management it comes around, hope this information helps.
