What Causes Pain In The Head Post Gastrointestinal Surgery?
since having gastrointestinal surgery in January and getting out of the hospital, I have experienced pain and tenderness mainly on the right side to top of head behind the eye and serious ear pain in right ear -- the nurse practitioner has said there s fluid around the right eardrum and I finally have been referred to an ENT, but I fear my problems (I have been given several courses of a sulfa type pill and just ended the most recent one this morning, which seemed to have lessened the syndrome on previous occasions) are related to infection incurred during my hospitalization.
I would explain that your symptoms could be related to an inner ear infection, especially considering the fact that there is fluid around your right eardrum.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with an ENT specialist for a physical exam.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
