Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

I understand your concern and would recommend trying an antidepressant (amitriptyline) or an antiepilepsy drug (pregabaline, gabapentine) as a possible long term treatment for the pain.
A muscle relaxant (Flexeril) coupled with physiotherapy would also help improve your situation.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above treatment options!
Hope to have been helpful!
Best regards!
