What Causes Pain In The Hips And Lower Back After A Cervical Fusion Surgery?

I had a lumbar fusion about five years ago which included disks 4 5&6! Recently I have had a cervical fusion of 3_4_5 ? My left hip and lower back is feeling very painful again I am using ice and heat antiinflammatory medicine and a tens unit ! My neurosurgery Dr had me go for an injection into the SI joint,. I am in quite a bit of pain most days.Now... The surgeon sent me to physical therapy . After the evaluation....They were not comfortable doing very much until I have an x-ray of the low back area.they are concerned that I am having the same problems with my lower back fusion ! What is your thought on this?
