Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The pointer finger on my right hand is giving me pain. It happened after I woke up one morning a few weeks ago. I did make an appointment with a doctor, but I was hoping you could give me some insight as what could have caused this problem with my finger?

What Causes Pain In The Index Finger?
Hi, It may be a simple contusion or inflammation at the fingertip. We have to rule out rare possibilities like arthritis also. As a first line management, you can take analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
