What Causes Pain In The Index Finger?
The pointer finger on my right hand is giving me pain. It happened after I woke up one morning a few weeks ago. I did make an appointment with a doctor, but I was hoping you could give me some insight as what could have caused this problem with my finger?

Hi,
It may be a simple contusion or inflammation at the fingertip. We have to rule out rare possibilities like arthritis also.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
