What Causes Pain In The Lower Left Side Of The Ribs?

Hello,I am 58yrs old, 5ft 3ins. weight 11st 8lbs. I have osteoarthritis, under active thyroid, fibromyalgia, osteophytes in 5th/6th vertebrae and lumbar area. chronic back promlems, and more!!! I have lower left side rib pain through front and back which is made worse by movement - I have calcification of ribs which I think happened after a bad fall on them 10 years ago. The pain is now extreme and constant and I feel that it is coming from under the ribs. I have an enlarged liver, just diagnosed not through alcohol as I am allergic to it. Could it be that the liver is pushing other organs into the ribs and causing more pain.?
