What Causes Pain In The Neck And Upper Back?

My neck and upper back have hurt for 2 days. My upper left arm has felt kind of sore near the shoulder and weird the rest of the way down. It s hard to turn my head to the right. My left ankle seems to hurt when I walk. When I smile the left side doesn t go up as far. I ve felt lightly nauseous today. Also my perifial vision in my left eye seems slightly flashy. What could thus be?

Hi,

It may be due to spine related problems like a prolapsed disc. You can consult a neurologist and get evaluated. An MRI scan may be required to assess the functional status.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain.
