What Causes Pain In The Pelvic Area?

I have recently started to have pain in the pelvic area on the left side. The pain is intermittent and sharp and can also create pain upon urination (to start the flow). I initially thought it was gas, ovarian cyst (I have had one before so I know the pain) or UTI. However, the doc did an ultrasound and it was negative, waiting for the UA but did not look cloudy and I was not have frequent urination. What else could it be besides gas? I have had 2 bms to day that were of adequate amount.

Hi,

The possibilities are minor stones or pelvic collection.

Consult a physician and plan for an ultrasound scan.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
