What Causes Pain In The Right Arm?

I have had achiness and pain in my right arm for a while now (more than a week) (both lower and upper part of the arm). I have carpal tunnel but it has not acted up in a few years. I am contemplating going to the hand doctor but wanted to inquire here first.
