What Causes Pain In The Throat After Cleaning The Tongue?
Hi, Today morning while brushing my teeth ,I just cleaned my tongue a bit and coughed blood .. I am having little pain in one side of my throat and I am confused if there is something majorly wrong or I just ruptured my throat a bit due to excessive cleaning..please help !! I am really worried: ( YYYY@YYYY
As per your complain if you have pain on one side of throat and also coughed slight blood on cleaning the tongue with brush, then there is a possibility that you have slightly injured the tongue and throat leading to soreness and bleeding..
You need not to worry as by now nothing looks serious..
But in case if there is repeatedly episodes of bleeding during coughing then you need to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
As of now do warm saline gargles and also take soft diet..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
