Dear patient symptoms told by you may be due to rotator cuff injury as well as some tendinitis. If you are not satisfied with your doctor go for second opinion.swelling and extreme pain in your hand could be due to pseudeck's osteodystrophy or chronic regional pain syndrome, getting an intrarticular steroid injection or a stellate ganglion block coupled with physiotherapy exercises can help you.
