What Causes Pain In Upper Thigh And Tenderness In Lower Back?

I started with leg cramps several months ago, i was taken off of provastaten and the muscle cramps went away but i have upper left thigh pain so bad it wakes me up in the morning, also lower back tenderness. also, I had a colonoscopy about 6 months ago and haven t had normal bowel movements since.
