What Causes Pain In Wrist And Forearm?

Weird wrist/forearm pains last Saturday me and a group of friends played football in cold weather (about 15 degrees) and most of us got this weird pain the next day in both wrists that also gave us stinging pains in both forearms. it is now Tuesday and the forearm pains are mostly gone except for flashes here and there but my wrists still hurt and are very sensitive to even the lightest impact. again, a few of us have this weird pain going on. what could it be?

Hi,

We have to rule out possible causes like carpal tunnel syndrome.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
