Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

It thinks if you have tried putting ice over the painful area that is the thigh muscle which isn't helping you then try putting it over the lower back region.

If this helps you then this could be a nerve root entrapment and will be treated accordingly by a physiotherapist.

Try icing the lower back and see if there is a change in symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
